Qualifications:
- Bachelor of
Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong
foundation in thermo-fluid sciences (thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat
and mass transfer)
- Experience
with computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) software, preferably
solidWorks, SimFlow, ANSYS, or similar tools
- Familiarity
with 3D printing operations and usage
- Experience in
experimental research, including assembling, calibrating, installing,
testing, and measuring data from sensors such as temperature, humidity, and
flow meters
- Competency in
technical and scientific writing and presentation
- Ability to
manage a laboratory, organize equipment/sensors/gadgets, and prepare and
fabricate experimental setups
- Proficiency
in laboratory and office software (Microsoft Office, data analysis
software, etc.)
- Background in
research writing and methodologies
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the
project leader in executing and completing the research
- Aid in
manuscript preparation and completion
- Help track
and document research results
- Support in
meetings, experiments, and other project-related activities
- Assist in
preparing progress/accomplishment reports
- Prepare
communications and financial documents (TO, DV, PR, JOR, etc.)
- Perform other
project-related tasks as assigned by the Project Leader
- Discuss
research progress with the Project Leader every three (3)
weeks
