The Center for Multidisciplinary Studies and the College of Arts and Social Sciences will co-sponsor a professional lecture on December 6 , 2022 with Dr. Dahlia C. Simangan, a visiting professor from Hiroshima University, as resource person. Her lecture on “How to Publish?”: Trends and Opportunities” will be held from 9:00 AM to 12 noon using two modalities- online via zoom and FB live and face-to- face at CASS. The input from the lecture would provide practical guides for research practitioners and graduate students who intend to publish articles in peer-reviewed journals.


Dr. Dahlia Simangan is an Associate Professor (tenure-track) at Hiroshima University’s Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Her position supports the research activities of the university’s Network for Education and Research on Peace and Sustainability (NERPS). She also contributes to the teaching activities of the International Peace and Coexistence Program of the School. In recognition of her professional competence, she is in charge of three graduate courses: Global Governance, United Nations Peace Missions, and Peace, Conflict, and the Environment.
