Institute Gymnasium; Ceramic Training Center

The Technology Application and Promotion Unit of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension, in collaboration with the College of Engineering and Technology, to will conduct a series of activities during the 50th Year Anniversary of the Ceramic Training Center with the theme “Ceramic Training Center@ 50- Up, and Rising to the Challenges of the 4th Industrial Revolution Through Ingenuity, Innovation and Creativity”. The activities will showcase the achievements and milestones of the Center, its contribution to the industrial and socio-economic development of Mindanao, and the promotion of the ceramic industry in the Philippines. Partner agencies, industries, and institutions are invited to attend the series of activities. Opening Ceremonies

• Ribbon Cutting and Exhibit Viewing
• Open House that showcases the Ceramic Training Center’s newly acquired Kiln and other facilities to the public.
• Display and Exhibit to be participated in by CTC, CERES, DMRET, CREATE, and by partner industries such as

Ceramic Engineering Lecture Series

• The lecture series will be graced by prominent scientists and engineers in the field of ceramic engineering
• Selected faculty members of the College of Engineering and Technology, MSU-IIT, and Mariano Marcos State University of Batac, llocos, Prof. Ephraim E. Ibarra (Hydria founder), and Mr. Evan M. Badelles of TAPU-MSU-IIT will be invited to talk during the lecture series.
• Representatives from various industry partners will also be invited to talk during the lecture series.
