Every year the Department of Filipino and Other Languages of College of Arts and Social Sciences organizes a conference that expands on language, literature and culture. On February 22-24, 2023, the Department of Filipino will hold the 2nd Salindunong International Conference and Ika-15 Pambansang Kumperensiya sa Filipino at Pananaliksik via Zoom. With the theme, Research Issues and Development in Language and Literary Studies. The conference is a
collaborative effort between MSU-IIT and the Filipino Studies Program of the University of Hawaii, Hilo, USA.

The International Conference aims to provide a responsive venue for sharing information and updates on the trends and challenges of doing research in language and literature in academic settings across Asia and worldwide. It is hoped that this work will contribute to the development of knowledge and gives advancement in the field of teaching and research by teachers, students and to the defenders of language and literature. This conference also introduces the international scope of language culture and literary development. 

Regular Participant: Php 2,000 

Undergraduate Participant/Presenter: Php 800

International Participant or Presenter: 40 USD
