Celebrating 57 years since it was granted its charter, MSU-IIT continues the tradition of honoring its employees during the Charter Week celebration in the annual Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) and Service Awards 2025, held on July 10, 2025, at the University Gymnasium.

MSU-IIT employees gather in their formal wear to celebrate their milestones as they are awarded for their years of service, outstanding contributions, and work performances.

Chancellor Alizedney M. Ditucalan, in his message, highlighted that this event serves as a celebratory space to honor the achievements of individuals and the institution as a collective. “We are gathered here this afternoon to honor the best of us, to honor those of us deserving of the most praise... I celebrate with you these achievements and milestones in your career, but more importantly, I celebrate you. Your commitment to your work enables MSU-IIT to serve the people,” the Chancellor said.

The event’s Keynote Speaker, Mr. Troy L. Palermo, Branch Manager of the Government Service Insurance System of Iligan City, spoke of this year’s theme for the Charter Anniversary celebration, “A University with a Heart for the Community,” highlighting the University’s commitment to uplifting lives and empowering communities. Palermo expressed that the awardees were individuals who are not only excellent in their work but are also individuals who carry the vision and mission of the institution.

“The recognition is not merely a reward, it is a mirror reflecting the impact of your work in shaping lives, communities, and the future,” he said.
